The Board of Directors of Hatteras Financial Corp. (NYSE: HTS) (the “Company”) today declared cash dividends on shares of both its common and preferred stock for the first quarter of 2016.

Common Stock Dividend

The Company’s Board of Directors today declared a quarterly dividend of $0.45 per common share for the first quarter of 2016. The dividend will be paid on April 22, 2016, to stockholders of record on April 1, 2016, with an ex-dividend date of March 30, 2016.

7.625% Series A Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock

The Board of Directors also declared a quarterly dividend of $0.4765625 per share of the Company’s 7.625% Series A Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock for the first quarter of 2016. The dividend will be paid on April 15, 2016, to stockholders of record on April 1, 2016, with an ex-dividend date of March 30, 2016.
