I see this a bit differently. I'm already considering my investment a loss, so why not break this down logically since she almost can't fool anyone else.

First off, unless M.E. sent Junior some money for putting his face on the possible distribution in Brazil, why the hell would she be down there hanging out with him? DD indicates that it was actually Junior and/or his marketing firm that put money to Marani for the deal, not the other way around.

Secondly, are they friends? Was he in it from the beginning, having no ties to the family on the surface, and just having a great time in the middle of the Great Marani Swindle? If he was, that was one hell of a long play, showing up way after the original Brazil PR.

This is already at triple zilch, and unless they're planning on some huge pump, there's no reason for them to keep this going, even with the pump (a pump would be good for us, let's not deny that). Is it possible that it's just really, really, reaaaalllyyyyy slow going?

I see her being in Brazil as a good thing. I don't see the image not mentioning Marani a bad thing.
