This quarter brought us the first successful creation of transgenics using the new technology (undisclosed) discussed last quarter. With it, we were able to generate two new transgenic lines. What is perhaps most exciting about this development is the accuracy with which this approach allows us to deliver the exact protein sequence into the exact location we’re targeting. This increased accuracy should lead to more exacting expression, significantly shorter development cycles, and strong transgenics.
