It's on the same principle as bidding in an auction, such as Ebay, putting in a higher price at the last minute. This is on the reverse side where they do it at the end. Or there are absolutely STUPID idiots who sell just to sell something.

But just remember, most of the shares this week went into stronger hands overall.
