I think the decay with no movement in the VIX is abount 5% / month meanwhile the Vix Is also dropping the last few days.

Much better to buy this when VIX is at a low and with hindsight catch it when it is about to rise substantually.

UVXY goes up for lot shorter time periods than SVXY. At least that is my thought.
