I disagree, there are many startups that are well capitalized. Integral just isn't one of them. Are they still a startup after almost 20 years?
You must not have been paying attention to what has been happening with patents the last few years. The big boys want to steal technology, not pay for it. They have done well getting congress to weaken the patent system. There is a case currently before the Supreme Court that will hopefully overturn some of the damage done by congress.
If they could get an honorable company to pay them well for the use of their patents, that would certainly help, as it would give them funds to at least threaten infringers with litigation. Right now I see little threat to infringers from Integral's current ability to enforce their patents.
