Too early to expect miracle happenings from Astellas/Ocata merger, unless R&D to cause those happenings was already well underway before merger, but well submerged or disguised or simply hidden for usual corporate reasons. From OCAT standpoint, lack of funds can be added to above.

I find it interesting that Lanza is now the equivalent of spokesperson for what he expects to happen post merger--- increased staff and funds. But I have not spent time to look for comments from other principals in Astellas or Ocata---where did Wotton go...is he still employed anywhere in merged entity or elsewhere? I have not looked. PRs from Mass. or you Japan will inform on news in usual fashion.
