chartist1,have you ever heared of Bill Miller?He's a fund manager who has out performed the market for the last 15 or so years by investing in companies that have been beaten down to the ground.It's called value investing,and if done right,can be very profitable.He bought the hell out of AES when it was around 2 dollars a share,and that was just one of his big win's.I understand what you're saying,but there are many style's of investing,and value investing is one of them.Good luck,and keep posting,because i and others are trying to learn something about chart reading.
