You make a good point. I looked at the picture your references posted.



I understood right away that you didn't mean vertically stacking but having multiple blades in the build.

Some of the bigger blades can be over 300 mm tall as in the picture below.







The X and Y dimensions aren't given. I'm guessing that the wide side is about 75 mm. I really have no idea about the narrow side but guess that it could be about 50 mm.

I used my rudimentary drawing skills to see how I could "stack" them into the Q20's build envelope. I know that some minimum spacing between components is necessary, but I'm just looking for a rough guess here.







Someone more skilled could probably use better placement as in the upper picture and fit more blades. To answer your question, yes, more that 6, 7, or 8 blades should easily fit in the build envelope.

Of course there could be a easily be metallurgical build limitation that would prevent this. Of that, I have no knowledge. I'll send an inquiry to Avio. I'll post whatever response I receive.
