I have "spammed" a few Yahoo stock boards promoting IHub because it's possible to have discussions here, compared to the "insult-fest" over there.

I would be fine relaxing the rules on the harmless off-topic posts, such as banter about upcoming weekend plans, misc chit-chat, provided it doesn't get so overwhelming it interferes.

But this is not a social media site...it's for stock discussion and the current rules should be kept and adhered to.

"It is easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled."

For those that don't get it, it means that people need to be more careful, and do good due diligence.
