Insider Buying?

There was a post made earlier, claiming that insiders "buying the stock."

However, when I did a quick Google search, it showed that the vast majority of insiders are actually selling rather than buying. Per the company's disclosure, Steve Squires unloaded 5 million shares on January 5th.

Also, does anybody know the answer to this, when an insider is "buying the stock" are these truly buys, or are they being compensated VIA stock options. If the buy that is being shown, is compensation through stock options, it is not a "real buy." The person didn't actually spend cash.
