I can understand that most of the people on the message board have an emotional attachment to the stock. Additionally, they have their own pride to worry about as well. Picking a losing stock would hurt their self worth, not just their net worth. When you bring the truth to light, the first thing they do is get defensive, it feels like a personal attack.
