jourtrader- Ordinarily your statement would be true. Yes, the FDA is bribed and has been for many years. However, in this instance, with the politics and society's awareness of the problems and the lives lost, not even counting the crimes committed to get money too pay for drugs, I think it is obvious the FDA cannot screw around this time. Want another new head of the FDA? The old regime was fired and a new FDA chief sits in the chair now who is aware of the Congressional bipartisan support for saving lives and reducing crime associated with drugs. The FDA cannot make a false move this time.
