Basically, the officers sans Jose and Jay have all left. The pool builder now works for Countryside, and they have opened up a new division Countryside pools. Not too sure about the pool maintenance guy, however, everyone else from the press releases I asked about by name, J. DePetris, M. Meyers, A. Hayes, E. Davis, T. Smith, L. North, are no longer with the company. Tarragon, I could not get a good answer about, something strange is going on there as well. It appears that things folded late January, basically due to lack of funding leaving all of AVEW's companies defunct. Jose and Jay have been left to clean up the messy situation of the remaining pools that were under contract before everyone's departure.
I did however call what I think is a google voice number and reached Davis, he refused to talk to me and instead offered me Jose and Jay's email addresses and phone numbers. He did however confirm that he was no longer under AVEW's employment but hung up on me when I pressed him with more questions.
Both stories matched regarding an ongoing issue with AVEW's non-payment of subcontractors, resulting in slow work. Pools that should have taken 3 to 4 months to build were taking far longer to build, resulting in pools taking far longer or contracts being canceled.
A group of AVEW employees went to New York in November to meet the investor group that was to loan AVEW the money to complete the acquisition of Countryside. AVEW was promised money before months end, yet they have not received any funding. When asked about the audited financials we have been waiting so long to receive, no one knew, however, I surmise that if the companies under AVEW have gone dark, and if Jose and Jay are the only ones remaining, what is left to audit?
