Thank you Tom and all the other posters who thoughtfully replied to my laser vs. EBM question. Well thought out and informative. Just wish I had more technological understanding to comprehend better what was being said. This is the kind of informative and thoughtful discussion I desire to promote and wish we had more of them. My only regret is there was not more direct positive information re where EBM might excel besides the blades. Must still rely on Rene's statement that arcam will have trouble keeping up with aviation demand and that some aviation parts are best produced with ebm, some with laser and some equally and it will be the research/experimentation printers and companies that will expand those parts falling within the ebm purview. Sure a nice change from all those nay sayers and worrywarts who shout fears about every new video, PR or technological innovation.

Thanks again and lets keep up the discussion and informative dissemination. Do you now see more aviation parts beyond blades???
