I also thought the lawyers were working on a contingency basis, funds wouldn't be to pay them; but , should be somewhat minimal based on the assumption everything is "on hold".
I haven't called the Jefferson County clerks office since the last motion; but, I recall hearing Thursday appointment is an attempt by lppi's lawyer to move the trial date up from October.
We'll have to wait another week in order to see if they were successful. I'll call possibly early the following week.
Either way, each day that passes we get one day closer. The Judge can only kick the can so far down the road....
