Timing the moves in this is crucial for successfully riding it !
Sure there are shorters ... I get it ... Look at Stock twits if you don't think so... gets more action on messages than here
but,,,, my point is
I believe this stock is undervalued based on prices a few months ago pre reverse split and I mean currently a lot
1.00 = 15.00 a share ... Now, you can say they just added or increased Outstanding shares by 1/10th (give or take) ... so you give the price a 10% haircut from where it maybe should be ... I say "maybe should be" because there are many moving parts here ...
There is the price of oil itself which encompasses an entire book of possibilities currently ...
The Dow,Nasdaq,and S&P movements
OTHER OIL companys that are going BK bearing weight on this company pyschologically
OTHER companies earnings for comparison (more Psych on the brain)
Refinancing of IOs' debt
There are more ... but when you parse it all out ... there's no way anyone can predict exactly what will happen here any more than you can on any other stock
Sooooooooo .... it is apparent that you must trade this and hold a core position or trade it all in and all out <<<< Bad idea in my opinion if you want to catch a huge ride at some point
I'll be holding a core position and trading the rest from here on out.You can just sit there stuck on stupid like a deer in the headlights when this moves huge the way it does;I've learned that strategy does simply not work on this stock... and learned the hard way !!! It's not prudent ... to NOT sell some and trade this with the huge swings that seem to occur sometimes several times a week.
Buy the dips and sell the rips but hold a core position would be my advice if I were giving advice ,,, which I'm not ... not to anyone reading this anyway ...LOL! I'm just typing this to myself to remind me of how to play this thing!!
It's a wild one!! I've already got burned on this one from not getting back when it was in the 3s the last time ... I hope I won't be making a mistake like that again ....
Trade on ... as you were... Good luck to all the longs and what the heck ... even the shorts
