Yes, it's funny how often "shorts" are mentioned in OTC, when there are practically 0 shorts on a particular stock. 99% of the time, risk and margin requirements make shorting not worth trying.

FINRA reports 25,624 TRTC shares short as of Feb 12, which is barely 1% of avg daily volume ... insignificant.

When stocks really do have significant shorts, "Days to cover" is usually significant. For TRTC, it's "minutes to cover", about 5
