when brownback, oh jeez i'm citing this guy?, talked about fetal farming he described THAT farming as "more advanced cells than embryos." the words in quotes are approximations, but darn close. just the word "fetal" implies something more advanced than an embryo? what are the chances scalability will be affected by passage of the bill? wont there be quite enough time to get the public educated about the importance of scalability without impeding the speed of any esc clinical trial? i'm thinking there have been quite a few senators that said they have no problem voting for the two competing bills because 1) nobody was doing what one bill talked about and 2) no respected scienctist would consider doing what the other bill was talking about. my first thoughts about your great observation is there will be no problem here, especially when positive esc trial results are broadcasted in the future and the cost of no scalability is weighed. know one thing for sure, you know way more about this than i. was charles schumer, along with the rest of the esc advocates, great or what!!!!
