OT...Paulness, or should I say "Saulness", I do know some history of the region, but am no expert. And I'm sorry the Jews were forceably removed from their homeland. Were the American Indians treated any better? Were they not forceably removed to the equivalent of concentration camps (or die)? Were not many forced to convert to Christianity? If the UN got involved and decided half of North America had to be given back to the Native Americans, the Indians would love it, but us of European ancestry would take it as a joke.
The point is, sh*t happens throughout history. Civilizations rise and fall, nations (read tribes) are defeated and displaced, religions quashed. Palestine is the homeland for Palestinians, and most Palestinians are Islamic. You cannot say it was never their homeland. Likewise,you can't tell anglo-Americans that this country is not their homeland. To try to revert to a status that existed 2000 years ago is an experiment that's never been done before, and it's obviously not working. Sorry for the delayed response...work intervened.
