"usually you clean this stuff up before you run for president" - I'm not certain even Trump felt he would be so widely popular with low-informed voters, a class of people he has nothing in common with...I'm not convinced he wants to be president, but all the attention he's getting now is like a drug Trump can't walk away.
As for the CA law suit, it's no surprise it took a columnist to point out Trump's Ponzi scam - something the GOP chose to ignore, perhaps for their own reasons.
