Yeah it could easily happen this week. Then any hopes for a deal falls apart next week or so and oil drops again. Like Iran said last week, a production freeze is illogical. They just had sanctions lifted and no intention to stop pumping. I don't see any way to implement and verify a production freeze especially on Russia's end.

Even if they magically are able to freeze production at January levels it's still in oversupply that will not go away unless cuts are made.
