Hmmm... Sounds like they are selling these solutions, and not just ANY. That's the thing about these (short) guys is that, partnership to them is a one way street. What I see is that to stay competitive, VMWare and MSFT need to have as much solution out there as they can. Sure they say, WHY? They can do what Sphere can do... REALLY? The key words: FAST, SIMPLE, LOW COST will be something each company out there will seek for. And their partnership with these big names will be their ticket to get in to penetrate the cloud market they can't penetrate just being a stand alone company without any partners or backing. Now if we could just hear some numbers to shut these guys up. Until then, ANY is just an easy target for their sour pies.
