I lost some. We as a group knew this was a great speculation. We knew from the start that Prickly Pear Lloyd was going to be the weak link to it all. We hoped that he could be guided and would understand that our group could make him more money than he could ever conceive of making on his own. Prickly Pear Lloyd would rather say that he is the CEO of an insolvent oil company, then say I own millions of shares of this company and I brought the right people in to build it.

It all comes down mainly to people. In my opinion Lloyd Jr. is NOT the right person to run this company or any company. Here is what we knew.. The oil was there. The leases were there. Devon and Chesapeake were there. The investors were there and willing to commit huge sums of money. We knew we had a CEO with zero success to his name, absolutely no meaningful accomplishments to speak of. The group found an experienced management team and had them waiting in the wings. What went wrong? The actions of one man! Dan Lloyd Jr. He managed to p!ss off every major investor in the wells. He managed to p!ss off every major stockholder who he came in contact with. When he tells you something you never know just how much of it is true. I can tell you that it will never be 100% truthful, everything will get embellished to a degree. It's up to you to figure out how much.

Yup, I lost some money in the stock. The wells I have not given up on. Would I do it all over again? Probably. Everything made sense. The only thing that screwed it up was the guy at the top. Just like EGOH. You win some and you loose sum. This one is bitter, because everyone could have had as much of their cake as they wanted and would gotten to eat it too! It did not happen because of one man. He stood in front of his own success and like the big dumb dope that he is, he still stands there.
