They have no legal obligation to talk to you. If you're unsatisfied with the way they're running their business, voice your concerns. If they ignore that, and you're still unhappy, sell what you have and move to a stock where they are more communicative.

You own stock. There may be certain decisions that are driven by shareholders, but that's at the company's discretion when they issue shares.

They will communicate at designated shareholder meetings and other moments they deem productive. They owe you nothing. They have legal obligations to the federal government. That's it. If they violate those, they can be charged. Anything else is simply a good or bad decision to be indirectly reflected in their share price.
