First and last thing I look at or see is exactly what you pointed out, where they keyword is 'forecasting'.
With this, I mention the weatherman. Now I'm not sure about anyone else, but my local weatherman forecasts all day, sometimes he's on, other times he's on another continent, or something.
I'll be looking at not revenues, but would like to see how many 'packages' WERE sold, and how many NEW clients are coming on, as well as sentiment from actual users of the product, which is by far the most difficult analytics in the beat.
Only when they are backed up, sold out, awaiting a shipment, will there be any positive forecast. As in, they do not print 500 million packages hoping to sell some to clients, they print just enough as the purchase orders require, and maybe a bit more.
