What is going on with preferreds? I bought a bunch years ago then got pissed when they went to not being tradable and checked out. Can someone please let me know if action is needed or if anything has changed for the better in regards to payout...

I don't remember what I own anymore. I have 2 preferred series - 1 was 1000$ face and one was $50 face. Any insight is appreciated.
