I'm sure that what you say is correct however you are very selective with your examples. There are many areas in which there could very easily, even by way of courtesy, that the management could communicate with shareholders ! I can understand that investors would instinctively be defensive of a company into which they have put their money but all I am asking for is a bit of communication !
