It makes sense to me that they would contact both.

That it does....

Maybe KBLB is only speaking to their part.

This could also have something to do with administrative issues. If the government wanted background checks on someone in VN who will be involved in any sort of government contract.

I certainly wouldn't rule it out as a possibility.

What doesnt make sense is letting Ben field the call

When I look to each and every PR, I see Ben's information at the bottom....

he is quoted regularly in stating that he doesnt know anything and can only spectulate.

Ben does state that he can only speculate I believe because he is probably provided info in piecemeal fashion at times.
