My pharmacy purchases Afreeza through Cardnal or Bergen wholesalers for 389.0$ all units priced the same. I purchase Humalog at 161.0$ I sell for 185.0$ retail, Afreeza sells for 408.0$ retail. Sanofi is giving away copay assistance cards which pay in about 100.0$ insurance covers the same as they cover for the Humalog approx 150.0$ . Patient final cost Afreeza approx 200.0$ copay Humalog approx 20.0$ copay. I am confident they become equally priced in April. Market penetration will begin especially with the opening of the diabetes treatment clinics. Sales of Afreeza could easily hit 400m by year end conservatively.
