exactly. I worked at a mortgage company years ago that got bought by GE Capital which is nortorious for doing that kind of thing. They merge us with another mortgage company in the midwest and proceeded to layoff people in our company who had 15, 20 years with our company and keep the ones in the midwest who were fresh out of college... gosh they saved a lot of money. Later I heard that the company doesn't exist any longer too....
