You missed the most important part... you are not very sharp if you do not liquidate your CD at anything above .0005... because you can take away your risk at that level. Holding until higher is just foolish because there is no benefit since there is no interest? Would you give money to your bank if they told you there is no interest for the first 5 years? What on earth kind of sense would that make?
