Sphere 3D Execs Live on Microsoft's “Mid-Day Café” February 8th, 2016

Session theme, “The Fastest Way to Containerize Your Apps”, featuring Sphere 3D’s Glassware 2.0 powered solutions built on the Microsoft Azure Cloud

Sphere 3D Corp. (NASDAQ:ANY), a containerization, virtualization and data management solutions provider, today announced that its Vice Chairman and President Peter Tassiopoulos plus company founder, John Morelli will appear live on Microsoft's Mid-Day Café at on February 8th, 2016 at noon EST, discussing the theme, “The Fastest Way to Containerize Your Applications.”

Sphere 3D’s Glassware 2.0™ is the industry’s first Windows containerization technology. While some commentators argue that Linux containers can deliver application virtualization, it must be remembered that Linux containers are not suitable for the majority of Windows-based applications which proliferate and are dominant in corporate IT infrastructures globally.

Tassiopoulos and Morelli will discuss and demonstrate how Glassware 2.0™ technology can virtualize 16-, 32-, and 64-bit Microsoft Windows applications and deliver them with native functionality to most end user devices, including Chromebooks, Windows 10 clients, iPads, thin clients, tablets, etc. Glassware 2.0 uses a container-based approach to application virtualization deployed on servers, coupled with a remote presentation capability, to seamlessly deliver applications to end user computing devices.
