I have been with Etrade for the last 2 years.
No complaints, just rookie trading mistakes dealing with AON, and got charged comm. twice for one stock.
Other than that, etrade is great for transfering funds between accounts, or even with drawing cash from the atm.
But, i have just opened up a Scottrade account so i am with both for now, since i just started as a stockbroker intern. ANd i can not see anything wrong with Scottrader especially with $7 trades. What high comm. are you paying??
i am also a fan of ScottradeELITE!
Well, i would have to say scottrade, has the customer service with over 260 locations, so there is one in your backyard, so you can make trades with the same broker every time!
