Is it possible they had to do this deal now due to the warrants that recently expired? i.e. were those warrants baked into their estimate on when they would need to raise capital again. If so, it doesn't say that there isn't a significant deal on the horizon.

It's the only thing I can think of as to why they would jump in and raise capital now.
