To this point - there is no hard evidence that NNVC is planning on making a serious play for a ZikaCide.

Their pre-clinical DengueCide candidate(s) might have some efficacy against Zika if the anti-Dengue ligands can bind to Zika - but to date Dr. Seymour, their CEO claims it is not something they intend to work on - unless somebody passes them a lot of grant money,.... and he doesn't think that financing and subsequent refocus is likely at present.

They have enough on their plate with their HerpeCide and FluCide drug candidates getting geared up for TOX testing and Clinical Testing.
