Alan Murphy (President), has been in the water business for more than 20 years and is a Level III Certified Water Specialist with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ)—the highest level of certification available by regulatory agencies dealing with municipal water projects and systems in the state of
Texas. Alan has been intimately involved with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) in co-developing pilot policies and procedures.

Alan brings extensive industry experience to various municipal, industrial and commercial water & wastewater treatment facilities in consulting, design, engineering,procurement, operations, management and complete project oversight & construction throughout state of Texas.

Darrell Byrer (VP of Operations), is experienced in water treatment industry is international and extends beyond 20 years. Darrell is proficient in the comprehensive systems of Reverse Osmosis water purification and demineralization, which includes design, construction, consulting, operation and troubleshooting. He was trained in a highly specialized program emphasizing in water treatment mathematics, chemistry and design and specializes in the forensic examination of problematic membrane systems as well as various other types of water purification systems.


Varkha Agrawal, E.I.T. (Project Manager), has extensively worked in the water industry.

With a Master’s degree in Environmental engineering, Varkha is adept at analyzing, modeling, designing complex water & wastewater treatment systems and applying advance techniques to develop appropriate water treatment technologies. She has worked with State regulatory agencies for obtaining permits & approvals for processes using innovative technologies (pilot studies, discharge permits). She is fully capable of effectively managing all phases of project execution including design, submittals review & approvals, procurement, scheduling, shipment, installation and final commissioning.

Chance Murphy (Field Operations Manager), is a Water Purification and Pressure Drilling Specialist and has extensive experience administering well drilling projects. Murphy is certified in a r ange of drilling operations to include: underbalanced drilling, hammer drilling, managed pressure drilling, air drilling, off shore rotating control devices, and MircoFlux control systems.

He is an asset to WTWC’s water initiatives, as his onsite management experience facilitates implementation of all projects on hand. He is skilled in the administration of site surveys, assessment, and the testing of technologies. Murphy is able to conduct water sampling and testing with various wastewater streams. He has the necessary skills to provide service and maintenance for Reverse Osmosis water systems and wiring of control panels. He is proficient in the supervision of monitor wells and is able to assist in all water processing ventures.
