Aside from sharing the sector downturn Ariad has been under the total influence of the huge short/hedge contingent which took place at the time of the crash. You are correct in assuming that the sp will not be allowed to rise until the shorts complete their departure and the parties interested in accumulating cheap shares have filled their positions. The fundamentals of this company have little to do with the current share price and that has been the case since October 13
