-Not sure if Vietnam "needs" us. They have a huge and very profitable textile and clothing industry which they have vigorously guarded with intellectual leadership. By virtue of its slow and deliberate review of the introduction of a new species, it is becoming evident that this is by design to protect the manufacturing already firmly established. What is not being talked about is how KBLB could be viewed as a very disruptive agent to an already profitable industry which dominates the Vietnam economy. American hubris might cause one to pompously proclaim that KBLB's technology would be "good" for this country and its economy, but others might see it as an infringement on an already good thing, i.e. an economic and environmental threat. Kim might want to address these concerns to shareholders.
