If MM are short, increasing the bids will put pressure on them to cover. Right now it's a waiting game they are winning. If buying comes in and pushed the ask up, then the bids will follow. Bid strength is always better unless there is a run of buying. And it looks like that means about $10k minimum worth to really move it. iMHO.
