The technology being used is not what is at question. Reverse Osmosis is proven and not going away. Expensive but very obtainable.

The political savvy needed to codify all of the necessary local, county and state agencies necessary to pull of the project is nonexistent. "You can't fight City Hall" applies here.

The company has no cash and any cash it does obtain is dedicated to paying bills, not funding this ambitious project. No one, no company, no organization, no nonprofit or even Al Gore has stepped up with a suitcase of cash for this project. Why? The leadership of the company does not have the band-with or business acumen to make a profit.

The genesis of this project came from the oil patch, the management team is oil patch based and oil patch managed. Yes, the management team has played well with good ole boys of the local and county governments but the good ole boys do not want their legacy to be tainted with a project they approved and failed.

As long as it is raining in West Texas this project will limp along as a future consideration until it quits raining again. Unless............a funding partner shows up. But without a working production well it is a pipe dream, no pun intended.
