If the FDA's decision is a need for longer term data, say one/two years in regard to effectiveness and efficacy, they need to ask themselves how many overdose deaths will occur during that time frame. The death rate would exponentially outweigh any safety or effectiveness I'd have to believe. A constant safe amount of probuphine has to be safer then shooting herion or throwing uncontrolled amounts of pills into your body daily. Hopefully this epidemic is reason enough to overlook the long term concerns the FDA may have. Too many deaths have occured, nothing else has curbed the addiction cycle and many more will die without this being approved.
