Umm says who? I worked on the completion side of drilling until July 2015. Worked in the eagle ford shale the last five years and I know for a fact your 1-2 year theory is wrong. Granted after 1-2 years they're not producing 1000 bbls a day but they have pump jacks on them and they are still producing a lot of oil. Believe me I was there and wells that were drilled 4-5 years ago are still producing shit tons of black gold.
