Last time I checked, the way to play biotechs like this is to buy the hype sell the news. Since today is a news day, I would venture to say that the majority are selling, knowing they can buy back cheaper in the following days...

Right now, Mannkind MNKD is in the hype stage. Investors are getting ready for an announcement of what the next step will be for Affrezza and the mgmt restructuring. Maybe even a possible re-partnering. So we have two days of heavy accumulation happening, (even though the company is in bad shape). Now its wait for the news to pull the sell trigger.
