The furthest I got with Akzo Nobel is seeing that they sold off Glidden Paint to PPG a couple years ago, and Glidden Paint is sold in a couple big box retail locations. (A tidbit that was mentioned in a previous HCTI PR).

As far as wood coatings, I know HCTI has PR'ed their interest in it before (see below).
