Good analysis however the point you are missing is WM's MM costs approximately 100$ or so. In India the 3 wheeler AutoRikshaw costs approximately 3500$ and 2 wheeler MotoTaxi costs approximately 1200$. Why would any AutoRikshaw operator or MotoTaxi operator want to invest 100$ for MotoMeter that too in India it's 'imported from outside country'?? Do you understand that India is a Nationalist country and the moment any Indian state government regulates AutoRikhaw or MotoTaxi operator to use MotoMeters 'imported from outside country', there will be a huge public outcry/backlash against it. Further India is technologically much more advanced than Thailand. They would want to have their own meters not any 'imported meter from outside country', get it? In all the countries WM claims that they have a presence; the fares for MotoTaxis are negotiated / bargained as per rider's need, urgency and situation. If it rains in Nigeria or if there is a dust storm in Morocco, immediately MotoTaxi operators on the ground charge twice the normal fare. Why would any MotoTaxi operator want to sacrifice their own profits for a government mandated fare meter that will kill their margins??!!! Think about it!!! Further WM's 2 totally incompetent, non-performing management don't have any marketing, business and sales skills such that they could convince mototaxi operators or governments for a government mandated use of motometer. This incompetent management of WM had been trying to persuade Thailand's government to mandate motometer to be used for MotoTaxis in Bangkok and till date they haven't been successful thus / so far!!! That's their level of marketing skills!!!
