Yet, that is not the stage they are at, or did I miss the approval? Remind me how long once data is available that it normally takes to get a peer reviewed article published? Just in case you are wondering I DO have my own articles published so know a thing or two about the subject.

I will be surprised if there are big concerns on the effectiveness as the drug mechanism is not new. It is not like this is a cancer drug or new class of drugs. I am more than willing to wait until the drug is approved and then if they are having problems with uptake by the community we can worry about if a peer reviewed journal article is what is needed to boost sales. In this case I doubt that will be the be all end all for their success. Feel free at that point to say "told you so".

For now, my statement stands and there is no need RIGHT NOW to have a peer reviewed article. Maybe in the future, but not right now. They might need it when they are ready to sell the drug. The only ones who matter right now are the FDA and they do not require a peer reviewed journal article.
