The I80/94 corridor is in fact the largest trucking route in the country. Logistically speaking, tax and expense wise, Hammond, Indiana is an excellent choice. Very smart move. Their repair center in Des Plaines, Illinois deals mainly with maintenance/repairs for their trucks and trailers as well as service for similar sized carriers based in this area.
