Does anyone not think big tobacco is watching what Magic is doing over in Spain? If it fails in Spain, why would they believe it would do well in US? Does anyone not think that big tobacco knows the VLN product failed when Vector had it?

Education of benefits of VLN and marketing is drastically needed for success or we need the FDA to come out and mandate a rule that would help Us. XXII doesn't have the funds or feet on the street to market or educate the consumer successfully. Nobody is going to buy it just because it has a "reduced nicotine exposure" label on it if they don't understand why that's important.

What did the Fox Business guy say to Henry..."why would someone want to buy a low nicotine cigarette?". Yeah all of us here get why the product is important, but that's not what is going to get revenue.

I was hoping they were going to be asking to put a little more on the label or box. Hell name the Brand something that will signify why it's important...but that appears to not be happening.

The JPM 90% statistic that keeps getting thrown around is pretty thin when applied to Brand A. How many of those individuals were thinking "oh yeah I'd be willing to try a product that has no nicotine"?. Or do you think the people who responded were thinking, "oh I would try a product that will allow me to smoke at the same rate of satisfaction but reduce my risk of cancer and other smoking related diseases." I read a horrible article today the 3D printing guy posted on STwits that used that stat to make a point at least twice. It's misleading and nothing was mentioned about the failure of Magic in Spain.

We have a couple generations that are addicted to nicotine. If they don't understand how they could pair brand A with their usual cigs to satisfy the hand to mouth craving but remove the nicotine exposure to help them quit then what will drive them to buy the product?
It would take new generations not addicted to the conventional cig to pick up the Brand A product and deem it "normal". In that instance, if I were big tobacco I would let XXII punch themselves out and buy them on the cheap when they have no money.

XXII needs a pharma partner for X22...brand A wont do anything for us in the next year unless big tobacco somehow gets involved with it, which I don't see happening around the corner.

I'm convinced that Magic is a dud in Spain, not because of taste, but because it's not a very well understood product. I am only hoping we haven't seen the product relaunched due to testing analysis on the new product....

All is my opinion.
