Mavericks blow by Warriors, 114-91

Dallas Mavericks guard J.J. Barea (5) drives around Golden State Warriors forward Brandon Rush (4) during the second half on Wednesday.
December 30, 2015
The Golden State Warriors flopped without Stephen Curry, getting blown out for only their second loss this season, this time losing to the host Dallas Mavericks, 114-91, Wednesday night.
J.J. Barea scored 23 points to lead the Mavericks to their fourth consecutive victory.
Curry sat out his first game this season because of a leg bruise. But the Warriors (29-2) still have the best 31-game start in NBA history, a game better than four teams.
Klay Thompson couldn't make up for Curry's absence, making only four of 15 shots and finishing with 10 points. Ian Clark led the Warriors with 21 points.
Zaza Pachulia had 14 points and 15 rebounds, and Dirk Nowitzki had 18 and eight rebounds for the Mavericks.
